Adopt a Class

What is our Adopt a Class program?

It’s a cooperative venture between the Clarinda Schools and Chamber businesses and industries.

The program involves identifying businesses in Clarinda and surrounding areas to adopt one class and for those businesses to follow students through completion of the school year.

Businesses commit to visiting schools at least once per quarter to provide presentations about careers in Clarinda, skills necessary for work place success, talk about values in their business, etc. Some of these are all part of the Adopt a Class program activities.

The main objective of this program is to provide positive, adult role models for the students of Clarinda Schools.
