70th ANNUAL
southwest iowa band jamboree

Clarinda’s Longest Musical Tradition is co-sponsored by the Clarinda Chamber of Commerce, Clarinda Community Schools and the City of Clarinda. Every year it draws schools from Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska which are judged in both parade & field marching in the daylong competition. The free parade starts at 9:00 a.m. around the downtown square followed by the afternoon field activities starting at 12:45 p.m. at the Clarinda High School Football Stadium.
For any organization wanting to have a food booth during our event, you can find information about license applications, rules and regulations, and hand washing set up requirements HERE. Remember that no homemade food products are allowed to be sold. Only food prepared from a commercially licensed kitchen/facility will be allowed.
For further questions about food licensing, please contact Food Inspector, Aaron Vetter, at 515-336-2007.
