Prom at 7 – January 22

The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the store’s expansion into a larger space at 113 E Main Street, featuring over 1,000 dresses.

Clarinda Regional Health Center’s Wellness Roots Garden – May 21

The community gathered to explore the new garden space on the northwest corner of the hospital campus, enjoy family-friendly activities, and grab some snacks and drinks.

Highway 71 Trailer Superstore – May 21

The Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Ambassadors held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Highway 71 Trailer Superstore at their new Clarinda business located at 1800 South 16th Street. 

Kool Kats Shaved Ice – June 21

The Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Ambassadors were excited to celebrate Kool Kats Shaved Ice’s new location at 120 South 15th Street with a ribbon–cutting ceremony! They also featured a live painting of their new travel trailer. 

365 Athletic Club – July 2

The Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Ambassadors were excited to celebrate the opening of 365 Athletic Club, 121 South 15th Street, with a ribbon cutting.

Pulley’s Event Center – July 18

The ribbon-cutting celebrated the opening of the remodeled 2,100 square foot event space with new flooring, ceilings, paint, and accessible restrooms, as well as the newly constructed 9,600 square foot building. The event center, located at 505 East Glenn Miller Drive, is a multipurpose facility that can be reserved for auctions, flea markets, wedding receptions, reunions, fundraisers, graduation parties, birthdays, and more.
 

Junebugs Salon & Spa – August 19

The  Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Ambassadors held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new full-service salon at 115 North 12th Street in Clarinda. The salon features tanning rooms, hair and nail stations, pedicure chairs, a retail boutique, and permanent jewelry services.

St. John Noah’s Ark Childcare Center’s New Playground – August 18

The  Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Ambassadors held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for St. John Noah’s Ark Childcare Center’s new playground. The new playground fosters physical movement, independent thinking and promotes social interaction and development.

McKinnon Tax Solutions, LLC – October 6

The  Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Ambassadors held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for McKinnon Tax Solutions, LLC located at 323 South 16th Street in Clarinda. They provide personalized tax support to individuals and businesses.
